Applause

Starting on the marketing team I worked closely with other talented designers to plan and executed a major company rebrand - across web presences, event collateral and company swag. After achieving success with those projects I moved to a new team and  joined Product and Engineering in support of a massive redesign of their flagship products.

Working closely with a global team across 4 time zones, I developed and owned the maintenance of a large design system that empowered 40+ engineers to add and improve features across mobile and web. I worked closely with Product Owners to define spec, create mockups and then implement them within the products. During my time at Applause I led multiple intensive workshops and discussions with cross-functional teams across the globe to plan new features, redesign and grow existing functionality and improve the products I supported.

  • Test Cycle Creation

    Overtime time the core flow of Applause tools grew organically with expanded functionality, creating a bad user experience. I led the design efforts to redesign this important business tool. Working with a cross-functional team I ran workshops & design sessions with a goal of providing a more intuitive user experience. This made its way to production after intense ux design & research efforts and increased NPS ratings drastically.

  • Product Creation

    Most clients had multiple products in the system. Frequently they would have an iOS & Android version of the same app, websites and apps were also common. I worked first to organize stakeholders and gather requirements and explore green field ideation for future product plans. The design process went through many iterations following along with the ux designs to prove concepts and test early and often.

  • Digital enabled eXperience (DX) Journey

    Looking to expand testing offerings to physical location-specific use cases, I led the design process in the creation of a ‘Journey’ tool. The creation of this product started with ux workshops that I facilitated to ensure alignment across the business stakeholders. It went through many iterations and testing and I led a lot of user research with prospective clients and active testers in our community pool.
